About the Artist:
Dean Russo is an American painter who has exhibited in the United States and Australia. His work follows the pattern of “construct, deconstruct and reconstruct”, and uses layering to break down an image, allowing key elements to show through.
Russo has always been fascinated with the question of “what are other people thinking?”, and captures these stories through art. He uses layers of acrylic and spray paints, sands and scratches, allowing the viewer to see “through the surface.”
